I reserved site 33 on loop 2 so the grandchildren could be close to the swimming area and playground. It was our first time at Dierks lake and we were so disappointed when we arrived. Our campsite was in the boiling sun. Not one tree. If we hadn’t had our pop up canopy to get a little shade we would have just packed up and gone home. We drove around and loop 1was beautiful and so was loop 3. I will go back and just reserve a site in a different area.

This was a return trip to the same section. We like the park. We like the area with ample shade and big sites. The gate attendants were a little troublesome with our reservation. It should be noted the length for this and other sites aren't correctly marked. We have a 41' trailer from tip to tail. We had about 8 feet overhanging the concrete stops. The front cap of the 5th wheel cleared the road, but not by much.
