This place was amazing! Huge sites. If you are in an RV..lots of space. Very well maintained. Beautiful lake. Disappointed that the swim beach was closed due to flooding. Wish that had been on the site.
Pack everything you need. Dollar General is your only option for food! Loved it!!

The campground is well kept. The spots are nice. The gate workers are super nice! The lake it not very big but it was perfect for tubing behind our pontoon and swimming as it was not over crowded. We really enjoyed having plenty of space to ourselves both at the camp sites and the lake. My only complaint is that Loops 1& 2 are closed due to flooding and from the looks of the lake....they have been flooded for a very long time. I believe they should take those loops down from taking any reservations. I booked spots on Loop 1 months ago thinking we would be on the lake (and not knowing anything about the park) then I start getting closure notices a few weeks prior to our trip. Had we not been able to get spots for our group on the Ridge, I would have been pretty upset. Otherwise, I would certainly go back here especially since I am much more familiar with the park.

always a nice time when we go to Dierks lake and Jefferson Ridge. I do wish they would spray for mosquitos though. They were extremely bad
