Here it is February 1, 2021, and I am getting this email to rate my stay in October of 2020. Loops 1 and 2 have been closed for months because they don't want to go to the trouble of repairing them after the high water, so the Ridge is all that is open with about 33 camp sites. In December, deer season is winding down and most of the camp sites are empty. We all know there is a 14 day limit on staying, but why run off paying customers when there are only 6-8 sites occupied out of 33. There has never been any problem this late in the year about stating over the 14 day limit until we got a new Park Ranger a little over a year ago. I had a camp site rented for 14 days and my significent other had it rented for 14 days. This new Ranger came by and argued that we had that spot rented for 29 days, not 28. I know I went to school many years ago and was taught under the old arithmetic rules, but 14 plus 14 still equals 28, even under this new math. I am currently looking for somewhere else to camp.

I was here during the off season so there were few sites occupied except for deer season people whom were very friendly.
Quiet and peaceful.

The area was very nice and quite. I had a great time getting away from all the stressful times we are living in today.
