Beautiful, clean spot by the white river. Really wish it was open year round.

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

No where on the recreation.gov site or army Corp of engineers website did it state that Parker Bottoms was going to be closed as of 10/30 due to COVID but the Pines were open. Made NO sense!!! We were forced to leave and the park attendant was the most unprofessional and rude person we have ever dealt with at any park. Very disappointed as this is one of our most favorite places to camp.

This is the best site in this loop. It sits deep into the loop with it's own access to the river. When the river is down, there are rock to land on just below the camp site. Great Spot!
8 is also a great spot with even better river access!

Without signs it was hard to find in the pouring rain. Site 27 on the river side was under water and our feet were soaked.
