I had a very good time here. It is a beautiful park, and the manager was very cordial and helpful.

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

Nice quiet place. Lots of shade. It was very humid when we were there but we just went to the lake swimming area and all was good. Great fishing opportunities too. Be sure to bring your own wood for campfire. There are a couple of stores nearby where you can buy some. We will definitely go back again.

Camp sites are always clean and well maintained. The fishing is usually very good during the summer when the generations are slow. In the summer it is nice to camp in the dam site where it is much cooler at night but be able to enjoy the lake during the day. Only thing I would like to see improved upon is the parking of vehicles.

great place to camp, plenty of space between sites. Wish more camp grounds had this much space. The facilities were great...access to the water, etc...overall a great campground to visit.

The camp sites in this area are excellent. We were close to the water for our kayaks. The water and fishing was perfect as usual. The river continued to have a mist/fog most of the day. This made it very relaxing. We can’t wait to return this spring.
