Favorite camp ground around even during the summer with the river close by it’s always refreshing!

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

This is a nice wooded area, The Pines Campground area at Dam Site River. Just enough shade and open areas. Pleasant to walk in the mornings and evenings. Very hot during the day. No cell service, No water at the sites in this section. Bathroom in the other section is newer. Both loops have individual showers with toilets. And they are both AC but the Pines RR AC unit is really loud. So you dont want the closest campsite.

The campsite was shady and level with plenty of space for the RV and tents.
The only problem is that poison ivy was all around the edge of the camp and also on the edge of the path to the lake.

The campground is nice and clean, and most sites are well shaded. We camped during the week which may have contributed to the quietness of the campground. The restroom/shower cleanliness was in need of cleaning and maintenance, however.
