No where on the recreation.gov site or army Corp of engineers website did it state that Parker Bottoms was going to be closed as of 10/30 due to COVID but the Pines were open. Made NO sense!!! We were forced to leave and the park attendant was the most unprofessional and rude person we have ever dealt with at any park. Very disappointed as this is one of our most favorite places to camp.

We made reservation on line and have our conformation. We drove from Tulsa to the Dam Site and the shack to check in was closed and the sign said closed for the season. We are asking for our refund. We have stayed at 4Recreation . Gov sites before and never experienced this problem.

This campground is like two campgrounds, one loop is so far away from the main campground that it does not even seem to be part of it. At first we found this off-putting, but once we set up we found that we really enjoyed the quiet where we were.

Arrival & departure

Check in with the camp host at 4:00 p.m. and check out by 1:00 p.m.

Site capacity

Campsites can have either one RV and one tent or three tents.

Vehicles & parking

Parking is not allowed in grassy areas.
Off-road vehicles and golf carts are not allowed.

Safety & rules

Dumping of waste materials is prohibited; all waste must be disposed of properly. Shower and bathroom tents are not allowed.
Camping longer than 14 days in a 30-day period requires written permission; otherwise, it is prohibited.

Fees & deposits

A $5 fee per vehicle is required for non-campers, and failure to pay or display proof is prohibited.

Pets

Pets must be restrained at all times and cannot be left unattended; owners are responsible for waste disposal.

Do not move firewood; buy it locally to protect forests from pests.
