Lots of shade. Nice quiet spots. Camp host checked on us both days we were there. Caught several nice trout!

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

Beautiful campground with lovely pine trees and lots of shade. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean for most COE campgrounds I have been to. The vibe at the campground was quiet and laid back. It appeared to be a lot of people there for the trout fishing. This particular site was right next to the bathrooms. The issue with that was that there is a light on the exterior of the bathroom that shines directly into the tent and by default there is a lot of foot traffic of people using the bathroom so I wouldn't pick this spot again. Every spot seemed to have a large flat space to put up a tent which was great!
Directly across from the campsite was a path down to the river but it was steep and slippery so not good if you have any mobility issues. We also visited the swim beach area which was incredibly steep to get down to. I didn't like the actual beach but it had a nice playground and the picnic areas were very nice.

We had a great time! Our spot was clean and situated in the middle of the camp ground. Nice shade and flat. Short walk down to white river fishing area. And a short walk to the white river secluded fishing spots.

We camped in "the Pines" campground. Sites were all very level and not crowded. Restrooms very clean. Easy access to main roads to Eureka springs and the Passion Play.

Bathrooms are in dire need of a makeover. Year after year they are deteriorating and need attention. After camping at Parker Bottoms for over 25 years our friend was told that his two 3 lb Yorkies had to be leashed. They never have and never will be. He packed up and went home ruining the week for everyone else. I get big dogs should be leashed as we keep our Aussies on a lead but two little 3 lb harmless Yorkies?
