Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

The sites at The Pines were wonderfully beautiful in November, although the sun went down early (4:30) since we were below the dam and it got a little chilly. The other campers were friendly and mostly quiet. The shower house/bathrooms were clean. We did look for a dumpster for a couple of days to dump our trash and then realized the camp host was picking up bags, possibly from the green posts at each site?? Plan on coming back next summer to see how it is in the warm weather under the Pines.

Other than no showers ir restrooms at the 1st campground down from the dam,it is fine. This time of year you will need to walk or drive to the next camp ground down river, for showers and bathrooms.
