Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

Was very disappointed that the bath house was not opened …. Plus the water at each site had locks on the faucets… glad we only spent 3 nights …

We had a very good time at the campground. We were surprised, however, that the restroom was not available. I did not see that information on the reservation.

Our only issue was no water. I wish we would have known when we booked.

We were there before “ season” so we had no water. Yet, there was a water spigot available to fill up at the entrance. Makes no sense that ours was “ locked”. The bathrooms/showers in A loop were closed and locked. Bathrooms/showers in B Loop were open and pretty nasty. Hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was garbage that had not been picked up for days in the A & B loops. I had called the COE office and complained, a female said she would pass the word. I finally found a ranger at the front gate, told him of the issues and he said he had seen an email about the situation that morning. Someone finally came to pick up the garbage and cleaned the B loop bathrooms. I would have liked a partial refund due to not having any water at my site. The other thing that was a disgrace was the site at the gate with a 5th wheel for a host or something like that, that looked like a dump. Stuff strewn around the site. Terrible 1st impression. That’s all.
