This campground is clean, quiet, and right beside the river. The river is beautiful! I will definitely be staying here again.

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

The water in the showers was way too hot. It was very uncomfortable, almost blistering.
Also, more of the river had been designated as catch and release area.
I will probably never return to fishing and camping below Beaver Dam.

Clean, quiet, just needs a dumpster by the bathroom. We never did find a place for trash.

Clean & friendly campground.
War Eagle Grist Mill was a peaceful site to visit.
The Blue Springs Heritage Center with its natural underground spring & flowers was also nice.

Beautiful area. Only issue is that people reserve sites and then don’t show. We had friends who had to leave and no one ever moved into the site even though it said reserved on the website
