This is an absolutely gorgeous campground! We stayed in The Pines Loop where the sites are spacious and surrounded by trees.

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

Look out for the Nutria at night! They aren’t scared to go thru your trash and take food, even if you have good campsite etiquette and keep it clean.

Site are a little close together compared with other corp areas.
Bathrooms have air conditioning which is a big plus.
The Pines bathrooms could use a remodel.

The campsite was great. I wish it would of had a water hydrant at the site but other than that it was great.
