Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

We stayed one night just after Christmas and when we arrived all of the sites were covered with debris & pine needles. I always travel with our cordless blower, so it was not a problem tidying the site up. There was only us and one other camper in the Pine Loop so it was very quiet. Bath houses and water spigot were locked. The dam was impressive to see and campsites proved to be a decent overnight stay.

Our power kept going off for hours at a time, then it would come back on for a short while.
We had no idea who to contact with the issue. We checked the power at the campsite next to us and it was working. It was campsite #36 in the pines. I'm glad I have a good battery in our camper so at least our heater worked.
