It would be better if we had water hook up. Also the breaker kept flipping off when trying to use our water pump. You should check that breaker.

Dam Site River Campground offers a beautiful, shaded location along the White River, ideal for fishing with clean, well-maintained facilities. Many campers praised the spacious, private sites and the friendly camp host, making it a favored destination for repeat visitors. However, some concerns were raised about the early checkout time and the need for upgrades to the shower facilities.

The campground is clean and well maintained. The crew that cleans the restrooms do a great job. The only issue we had was inconsiderate dog owners who allowed their dogs to bark incessantly all day and evening.

I’m an avid camper, trout fisherman and an Arkansas resident. I’m sorely disappointed with this reservation.
*You must release the perfect size fish: 13-16”.
* The Park Ranger does not work in the evenings, so you must tolerate the homeless and drug users sleeping at empty sites.
Beautiful area but not conducive to the public.

We had a wonderful time. We are new to camping so it was a great learning experience. The weather was great and the trout were biting. We will be back.
