Overall good experience. Restrooms were cleaned 2 to 3 times daily. Lake swimming area right there. Water spicket was close by our campsite. Cell service was great. Boat rental at the marina. All the other campers were friendly. Park ranger and county sheriff came through often. Will definitely be back

We camped with our teenage grandson and a friend. There was easy access for them to get to the lake with kayaks. We were there Monday-Wednesday so it was quiet and peaceful. We also had midday shade that helped with the July heat. What made Eagle Rock such a wonderful campground was the custodian, Mr. Dilby. He is obsessive about cleaning the bathrooms. He checked them 3 times on Monday between 3 and 8 pm, and multiple times each day after. As soon as people moved out, he was there making sure the site was ready for the next campers. There are places to get forgotten supplies within 5 minutes and a nice marina with gas if you are bringing a boat.

Our campsite was on the side of a hill with steps down to the picnic table and fire pit. This campsite and others next to us all backed up to a highway with cars and trucks going by all day and night-very noisy. Ther was no attendant on duty the two days we were there. One came by for a few minutes in her nice truck to give us a window card with camping dates. The camping spots were hard to find as the numbers were faded on the blacktop road at each site. To launch my kayak it was a quarter mile hike to the water down and later up a steep grade. As a result I only went one time in three days. I' will never stay here again.
