Big Coon Creek offers a clean and beautiful camping experience with spacious sites, great views, and friendly park staff. Visitors enjoyed fishing, swimming, and the well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and a quiet atmosphere at night. This is a very quiet park. Everything worked fine and the attendant was very helpful in showing us our spot and helping us get parked and hooked up. It was extremely hot the first 2 days so we stayed in but the last 2 days it was beautiful. There were many fishermen & many people boating.

Great end of the summer get together with some friends. Weather cooled down, water level was normal. Park was in great shape. Wasn’t very crowded for the weekend before Labor Day. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Rangers came by daily.
