The lady at the office is grumpy every time I go. I was at my camp and her son was driving around the park and he stopped asking me if I had paid for my site which I had my receipt and had been there a couple days before he stopped and asked. He said his mom couldn’t remember me checking in. If she can’t remember things and has her son driving her around she shouldn’t be working at all. I was paid up for another day but packed up and left early. I called to leave a complaint, left a msg with my name and number for someone to return my call without any success. I like the lake and campground, but that incident make me second guess my stay there again.

Enjoyed our week at Big Coon, sites could be a bit wider. Fishing was Great, enjoyed the lake. Will return.

Great time. Had relatives we hadn’t seen in a while. Met some of their friends. Cooked to much, ate to much, but can’t wait to do it again. Okies and Texans were really impressed with our camping areas. Took them on a pontoon ride around the lake. Everyone loved the week we were there. Already making plans for another get-together.

was there with family from Louisiana that had never heard of this park--the hosts were extraordinary folks going out of their way to see that we had every need --- nearby campers were friendly and helpful with any and everything---folks in town were eager to help!
