What Guests Are Saying
The Narrows campground offers stunning views and a beautiful, quiet park atmosphere, with friendly and helpful hosts like Frank and Nancy Cordero. While some sites are unlevel and there are concerns about poison ivy and hot showers, many guests had a wonderful experience, enjoying fishing and the spaciousness of the sites. Overall, it is highly recommended for its cleanliness and scenic location, making it a favorite for camping trips.

I loved this little remote Army Core of Engineer campground! It was perfect for my friends and I. We drove from So California to see the total solar eclipse and had a spectacular time. I met Ranger Mary on a couple of occasions. She was nice and very informative. She answered all my questions and concerns about tics and gave me suggestions for other places to check out on my trip back home. We went on to Petit Jean State Park as well as Pawhuska and enjoyed both! Thank you, Mary!!

When arriving at the campground we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. He explained where we could fill our fresh water tanks and where the dump site was. The campground was very clean, fire pits were clean and the restrooms were pristine. Very enjoyable stay

We had an excellent time at The Narrows. There were a lot of really great spots. The spaces were situated far apart allowing for the feeling of being in the forest. What a great spot to view the eclipse!!

The campsite is lovely, especially the trees and views of the lake and bridge.
Plenty of room for tents. The hosts were great.
Otherwise the shower rooms need more hooks. And the streetlight by the restroom were much too bright. And they should be downfacing.

Front gate attendant very nice. Site C15 was ridiculously unlevel. Tried for 1.5 hrs to try to get level. Finally gave up and had to except being uneven. The view of the narrows section of the lake was great though. Cell services was almost non existent with Att

As with any public campground, you have no control over who camps next to you.
With that being said the campground was clean and facilities were clean. Very nice area right on the water. I have Verizon for phone carrier. Was sketchy at best.
