What Guests Are Saying
The Narrows park offers a friendly and helpful park attendant, Julie, who enhances the camping experience with her dedication and local knowledge. Campers appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful views, and great location by the lake, making it a lovely spot for outdoor activities. However, some sites lack maintenance, have poor layouts, and there are calls for updates to improve the overall experience, particularly for families with children.

Site C15 is located facing the shore. Great location, however, this site is 11.2 inches out of level side to side, so be prepared with a lot of leveling blocks to raise one side 11.2 inches. This will also make your camper entry door step 11.2 inches higher.

Campsites were dirty, electricity panels need upgrades. No courtesy dock at launch ramp. Picnic tables and fire rings are on opposite sides of campers

I loved this little remote Army Core of Engineer campground! It was perfect for my friends and I. We drove from So California to see the total solar eclipse and had a spectacular time. I met Ranger Mary on a couple of occasions. She was nice and very informative. She answered all my questions and concerns about tics and gave me suggestions for other places to check out on my trip back home. We went on to Petit Jean State Park as well as Pawhuska and enjoyed both! Thank you, Mary!!

When arriving at the campground we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. He explained where we could fill our fresh water tanks and where the dump site was. The campground was very clean, fire pits were clean and the restrooms were pristine. Very enjoyable stay

We had an excellent time at The Narrows. There were a lot of really great spots. The spaces were situated far apart allowing for the feeling of being in the forest. What a great spot to view the eclipse!!

The campsite is lovely, especially the trees and views of the lake and bridge.
Plenty of room for tents. The hosts were great.
Otherwise the shower rooms need more hooks. And the streetlight by the restroom were much too bright. And they should be downfacing.

Front gate attendant very nice. Site C15 was ridiculously unlevel. Tried for 1.5 hrs to try to get level. Finally gave up and had to except being uneven. The view of the narrows section of the lake was great though. Cell services was almost non existent with Att
