What Guests Are Saying
The Outlet Area campground offers a friendly atmosphere with helpful hosts, and many enjoyed their stays, noting the cleanliness of the bathrooms and good fishing opportunities. However, some sites were poorly designed for camping, with issues like crowded conditions, inadequate space for tents, and maintenance concerns such as overgrown grass. Overall, visitors appreciated the peaceful ambiance and beautiful surroundings despite some drawbacks.

Love this park. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The park staff was friendly and always had a present. Road to the park is good, hills not to steep. I pull a 14' trailer with a 4 cyl Tacoma and the grades are not too steep. Grassy areas are well maintained and clear of trash. Now if y'all could do something about the fishing that would to awesome LOL

I like this site (site 6) due to the fact I can drive my motorhome straight into it and have the door facing the river. I wouldn't use it if I had a travel trailer because when you back it in the door would be facing the hill directly below the bathrooms. The water and power connections are right in the middle of the campsite between the picnic table and the fire pit. I can just open my awning enough to use without hitting the picnic shelter. The bathroom is just up the hill which is convenient. However, they are two unisex bathrooms and during the off season they lock one of them. If there were two male and female bathrooms, I could see closing half during off season. With only two unisex bathrooms, they should be open year-round. One day, a bunch of fishermen in three trucks came up and used the one open bathroom and by the time they were done they had used three of the four rolls of toilet paper and there was less than half a roll for the rest of the night. When that ran out, we had to bring our own. With 5 or 6 campers on that side of the park, there's no justification for having only one of the two bathrooms open.

A wonderful end-of-year experience. Beautiful area, super nice people, excellent facilities.
I'd offer two suggestions: 1) folks need to know that the water spigots are more than 10 feet from the RV pads, and 2) the exhaust fan set-up in the women's shower area was non-functioning. You all may want to check those devices more often, or put signage up on stuff that no longer works...
