Dam Site in Greers Ferry is praised for its well-kept campsites, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and long-time visitors. Reviewers highlight the beautiful lake and enjoyable swimming areas, as well as the campground's cleanliness. Some concerns were raised about noise from other campers and the need for better ventilation in the shower house, but overall, visitors express a strong desire to return for more enjoyable camping experiences.

The camp site was spacious and ideal for us. We scheduled a last minute girls trip amd we were able to park our 22 ft trailer on this site, and we brought a generator since this site was non-electric. Most folks in the area had them too. We will come back to this spot if necessary or if we plan a trip last minute. The facilities are good. The push button showers would only stay on a few moments and then shut off so plan for a quick shower. We didn't do too much except my kids wanted to go to the swim area or ride their bikes. Overall, we had a great time considering it was a holiday weekend.

Our site number was J07. To be fair we arrived later than check in time, it was starting to rain and well it was very very dark. It was very hard to get into this particular site for the above mentioned reason but also because someone had parked their boat in such a way it was making it hard to back into our site. One of the most surprising issues was no water hook ups. I'm sure I just overlooked this fact but we need full service and this was disappointing. There is a lake and there are optimal viewing areas but of course we weren't at one of those areas. Couldn't see the lake for the forest. Many of the sites are extremely shaded. We had a 1 night reservation and well... we didn't even unhook. :(

Great place to camp in the summer. It has 2 swimming areas in the lake to cool off. There are some trails nearby for when the weather is cooler. Wish it had full hook ups and more sights with water.
