Great site. Plenty of shade and a great little trail down to lake directly behind campsite. Had multiple places to place hammock.

Dam Site in Greers Ferry is praised for its well-kept campsites, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and long-time visitors. Reviewers highlight the beautiful lake and enjoyable swimming areas, as well as the campground's cleanliness. Some concerns were raised about noise from other campers and the need for better ventilation in the shower house, but overall, visitors express a strong desire to return for more enjoyable camping experiences.

We enjoyed a great spot with a trail down to the water. There were very few campers in October and we felt like we had the campground to ourselves. We love jumping from the cliffs!

We really enjoyed our trip and stay at the Dam Site Campgrounds! Easy check in at the gate. Our campsite site (I21) was not crowded with other adjoining sites, within walking distance of the restrooms and a little further to the showers. The shower building closest to us (8 private showers) was not well kept so we chose a shower building closer to the front gate and these were not too bad. Great view through the trees from our campsite of the lake and we enjoyed the full moon shining across the lake at night. We chose to tent camp and had electricity to run an extention cord for coffee maker, a CPAP machine in our tent (to allow my wife to get a good night sleep) and charge our cell phones (had good coverage with Verizon).
