What Guests Are Saying
Kirby Landing is a beautiful and peaceful campground with well-maintained facilities and spacious sites, perfect for family gatherings and relaxation by the lake. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the helpfulness of the staff, making it a favorite destination for many. While some improvements are needed, such as more trash cans and better maintenance for water hoses and RV pads, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

We loved our camp site. The only issue was the next campsite over was only 4-6 feet away from each other, that is way too close for comfort and I am not even referring to the covid 19 distancing thing. I am talking about just comfort in general. Way too close!! If someone would have camped there we would be looking right at their camper when we walked out our door, and our firepit would have been at the end of their camper. If someone was in that spot and was asleep or trying to go to bed our light from the campfire would have been coming through their window. Those sites are just WAY too close to each other!!!! If someone would have rented that site my rating probably would have been just 1 star because of the distance between the sites. It is very unreasonable to me!! We will be coming back of course due to the distance from our home and the views but I really think something should be done about the sites beings so close. You can't even relax and enjoy yourself if someone rented those spots. Other people that were around agreed. I think it is CRAZY that they are that close to each other. That was the only disappointment! I think those two spots should be combined. We rented site 30. The site I am talking about is site 29.

This was an incredibly clean park and campground. There were several areas to access the lake from our site. The lake was comfortably cool and refreshing. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend getaway and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Probably the best Corp of Engineers campground I have ever stayed in! And I have stayed in many! Large clean sites, many with full hookups. Beautiful lake. Awesome boat ramp. Go there, you will love it!!!
