This is the best managed and run USACE Park out of the ten that I camped at March thru June.
Management make one feel like they care about their campground and you the customer.

I shouldn’t say anything good cause it’s getting harder to get a space. It’s the best park that I’ve been to. The only way it could be better is if they had sewer and cable hookups.

We camped at sites A15&16. Excellent campsite. It’s level, lots of room and great view of the lake. Bathrooms were always clean. I never had any issues having a hat shower, but our daughter said it was cold every time she went, which was once a day for 3 days. Can’t wait to go back!

The Corp and it's hired staff did everything the last 10 Corp Parks we have been to since mid-March did not do. The bathrooms were clean. Litter on the grounds was picked up. The empty campsites were blown off with leaf blower to make then ready for incoming campers. There was a law enforcement presence everyday and sometimes multiple times. Always good to see, put not done in other Corp Parks. Lakeview does a very good job making you feel like you should be there and not elsewhere.
Remember campers always pick up after yourself and your dogs!

Mens restroom did not work the first 2 days there so was an issue since we had to get up at 0500 to be in Mountain Home by 0630. Fortunately it was resolved. Restroom was further than we thought from the map on the website

We had site B-18. It is a great spot. Nice shade trees and a nice big area. The park is well kept and restrooms are very clean. We are planning going back to this same site next year. We don't have a boat, but the campers that did, caught some nice trout out of the river.

The camp hosts at Lakeveiw are rude. Need to be trained on how to deal with people. I could see that our spot had been empty Since Saturday. We arrived on Monday about 10:30. Shelly told us check in wasn’t till 4:00. And mowers were in the park. We pulled down under a shade tree and waited for mowers to mow our spot and 3 more spots down. Entire D section was empty. We then went ahead and cleaned off our spot and backed in about 11:30. Have been camping at this park since 2015. Has always been if your spot is empty you can pull on. Was waiting till 4:00 to check in as requested.
When we got there, there was already an older gentleman sitting there in the hot sun. He had already been sitting there in the hot sun for an hour. He had checked out his spot on prior Wednesday and prior Sunday. There hadn’t been anyone in his spot all those days. Shelly also told him check in was not till 4:00 and had kept him sitting there in the sun. He was 81 years old. He said he has been coming to this park for years and never been treated like that. When your spot is empty you can pull in. When we went ahead and pulled down to our site he did also. The mowers did not get to his spot till just before 5.
We all do realize the policy is check out by 3 and in by 4. There has to be a policy for peaceful transfer of possession when a spot is in use. But we have never been harassed like this when there has been no one on the spot for days. Shelly called the rangers on us and we got a talking to. As did the older gentleman. We have 1 more reservation in Lakeview that is with family so we have not cancelled it, but did cancel the rest we had made there. The older gentleman said he was never coming back to Lakeveiw again. Has never been treated like that. Neither had we. We go camping to have a good, relaxing time. We don’t need to be harassed by the camp host and scolded by rangers. We don’t need the drama. So if you want a hassle free experience don’t go to Lakeview.
