Beautiful park and everything was very clean. The water in the showers was Luke warm to cold, however we were there during cold weather.
Definitely recommend it here.

This was our first time at Lakeview, but it is not likely to be our last. Even though, it was November and we were in a tent we had a five star experience. The weather was wonderful, the golden leaves falling from the trees in flurries, the availability of electricity and water; large, mostly empty sites; the spotless restrooms and showers, no highway noise, access to lake and mountain hiking, beautiful sunsets over the dam, close proximity to supplies, restaurants and church… all these made for an enjoyable experience. The one blemish on the whole thing was the water had a moldy taste, so we could not use it for drinking and had to go to town for bottled water.

We love this park! Always quiet, restrooms are very clean, and sites are spacious. Some of the campsites have pavilions over the picnic table which is a really nice amenity. We enjoyed the hiking trail there....a bit rocky in some spots, so be prepared with walking sticks. Staff was very friendly. The only negative is that the COE needs to really update site photos....they're not very helpful. This is for all campgrounds, not just Lakeview. We decided that Lakeview is our favorite out of the several we've camped at in the past. We will be looking forward to our next visit!

I love the campground, but the showers in the main men’s bathroom need to be replaced. Reported this last April
