We’ve stayed here several times and it has previously always a great experience. This time, however, the grass around the campsite was over my knees leaving a lot of cover for ticks. I brought my weed eater from home and cleared the area myself.

Everything was good. It's a shame you have about 10 50amp sites sitting empty all the time. There's no camp hosts staying there. Shouldn't be turning people away when there empty. You're losing money.

This is a nice park. I love all the shade it has. Their bathroom facilities were very clean. My favorite part is having the lake right close, we would walk down and sit on the dock in the moonlight. The only negative thing I noticed was they didn't do a good job of picking up small trash, especially ciggarette butts.

I am happy that I discovered this park. We mostly had been camping around Greers Ferry Lake. Had the opportunity to visit some friends at Bull Shoals. Both visits were great. Service was outstanding. Bathroom facilities were super clean. The site we were on had a new canopy and needs a little work around leveling the gravel. I consider it is a work in progress. Definitely improvements over the past.

Nice campground. Large sites so you’re not on top of each other and not far from a grocery store.

We kayaked on the lake and it was beautiful. Even thought the swimming beach was closed we did not have a problem finding places to swim. If you are in Section D, bring an extra water hose, as it's a long way to the spigot. The camp hosts loaned us one for the couple days we were there which was really nice. Thanks!

The park was very clean and shady. The pads are concrete with shelter over the tables. There is also decent space between the sites to provide for a better camping experience. The showers and bathrooms were very nice and clean and were air conditioned which was a bonus. The park also has several playground areas that are clean and well-kept.
The only negative I would mention is that the water source was quite a distance away. Just make sure you have extra hose. It took us 2 - 25' hoses to reach the source. Thankfully we had what we needed.
The park attendants were very friendly and helpful with the online reservations. The park rangers are available at times to answer questions or provide help. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely plan to stay again.

I do a lot of research before our week long camping trips to other states near us. I use Google Maps but more importantly I call the campground if possible to find the best spots available at the time I'm going to be there. With this one I asked on a Fakebook page and no one knew anything about it and suggested state campgrounds. Well in Arkansas, you have to book a year in advance if you plan on staying in one. Then I found Lakeview and which happens to be a COE park so of course I did as much research as I could and then booked a week. Boy was I lucky. The campsites are wide, big and easy to get into. There was no one on the back side of us so we could see the lake a little through all the trees or to the right as you face the trailer. We stayed on the B loop and walked three times to the marina which wasn't too far. There is a little shop with some fishing tackle, merchandise, pizza and ice cream. Unfortunately the beach was under water due to the all the rains recently but I still went swimming. I wasn't alone. All in all the park is the second COE park we've stayed in and it's just as nice as the one we typically camp at. I would definitely stay there again. The fishing on the other hand, not so good but that's why they call it fishing and not catching.
