Always a pleasure to visit this park. Usually quiet.

Such a nice park. Close to shopping. Beautiful from every space, big spaces. We've been here several times. The hosts are nice too. Our only problem is the water pressure is pretty low.

What a good spot! B35 was our site, right on the water. Not far from the bathrooms either. About 4 sites from the boat ramp, so if you don’t want that commotion that isn’t the site for you. We were entertained by some hotdogging young fishing boat fellas!

One of our favorite campgrounds. You have the Arkansas' largest city to explore. Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a short ride away. DEE at the gate is the best to when you check-in. My only complaint is that 2 years in a row maybe 3 years 2 of the 4 shower units in the bathroom facility have been closed. This is ridiculous!!! The United States Army Corp of Engineers who build Super Great Dams across this country creating beautiful lakes and or rivers that are navigable for tug boats and barges, yet they cannot in two or three years repair two showers in a bathroom facility which I pay to have available when I camp.

Check in inside an office (nice). Host was not real welcoming. Just sat in his chair. He gave me a parking pass. No map, no directions to site. Never been there before and had to drive the tow vehicle to find the site before we could take the motor home to the site. Restrooms bad. Park generally well kept. Sites mostly far apart. Liked that. We are camp hosts for the USACE in other states and this was not like we were used to. Hardly any host presence in the park.

Check in was to be 4PM while check out was 3PM. There were people checking in well before 4 the day we were to leave. We had excited our site and waited over an hour to get to 1 of 3 dump sites on our side of the park. We checked out at 3:30 and were rudely told of the 3PM checkout deadline. I explained and was told to dump earlier next time which is ridiculous as we waited for over an hour. There were several things happening that we felt the ranger should have handled during our stay and nothing was done. This includes a woman living in her car prowling the camp sites at night.

We always love going to Maumelle, even though we live only about a 15-minute drive away. Something about entering the park makes us feel like we've finally gotten away from it all. Love the river sites the most, but the shaded spots closer to the park boundaries are often just as nice. The good thing about it is the nearest grocery store and restaurants are not more than five minutes away; but if a lovely state park is more your thing, then Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a great way to go, too--and it is only five minutes the other direction.

Your park is inadequate and unproductive in your personnel
We will never return to this park
I will also write a goggle review so others don’t go there
