The campground is convenient to Little Rock and Pinnacle Mountain State Park. We have stayed in other US Corp of Engineer Campgrounds that were impeccable, but this campground needs work. I always rate a campground by how clean the bathrooms are and this campground needs work. Also, the fire pit, it was so full and had not been emptied out in months. The bathroom needed to be mopped and cleaned daily and it was not.

Spent 2 nights on a river front site. Everything was clean, quiet and in working order. Would definitely stay there next time we're back in Little Rock area.

We have stayed at Maumelle several times and have enjoyed everyone. The gate attendant, Dee, has been especially helpful on multiple occassions including this one.
The sites are well laid out and spacious. Most are flat and easy to maneuver in and out. Electricity and water hookups have all worked well. Location of dump stations make them easily accessible and convenient to exiting the park. Have not used that shower facilities. The internal roads are adequately marked and in good condition.

Spacious site, with level pad and water and electricity. Dump station nearby. Nice view of river and across a parking lot to the boat ramp. Plenty of space to walk pets along the trail or the road.

From Little Rock, Arkansas, travel west on SR-10. Turn north on Pinnacle Valley Road and follow signs into campground.

Highway access
The campground is accessible via State Route 10 (SR-10), which is the main road leading west from Little Rock. Pinnacle Valley Road provides direct access to the campground from SR-10.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
