We camped here in order to visit our son who lives and works in Little Rock. This park was very convenient to Little Rock and close to amenities such as grocery stores.
The park itself is outstanding. Great sites and beautiful surroundings. The park facilities are clean and functional. This will be our go to site when we visit Little Rock next.

Beautiful, clean campground. When we arrived our sites water hookup was broken after calling the cg host came by to assess. When he saw it was not immediately fixable we were given a choice of spots.

The Maumelle campground was set in a nice location, and the camper pads were spaced well apart.
We were located at E30 which had a bathhouse right behind it. Now, our rig does not have a shower, so we used the bathhouse. The men's bathroom was not well cleaned. Of the two showers, I could only get one to "work." The one that I was able to use had a mechanical push button on the wall to turn on the water. One push of the button would get somewhere between 1 and 3 seconds of water. Even with the minimal amount of water used, it ran out of warm water. We visited the campground in December and the bathhouse was not well heated, so the shower was a miserable experience.
All the hooks on the bathroom doors and in the showers were broken, so there was no where to hang your clothes or towels.
I did not visit the other bathhouses, and I cannot comment on their condition.
If your rig has a bathroom, then I think this would be a very nice place to stay.

The campground is accessible via State Route 10 (SR-10), which is the main road leading west from Little Rock. Pinnacle Valley Road provides direct access to the campground from SR-10.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
