Location is great. Very nice level site right along the river. The restrooms were decent but only one sink with no shelf or anything. Very large campground so it can be a ways to the restroom depending on your site location. Close to town for anything you need.

It’s a very convenient park. It’s great to have cell service. Park showers are horrible could use an upgrade. The park attendant not the friendliest. The website for reservation is not night by night. We had to reserve the Sunday night when we were leaving on Sunday

I've spent the summer traveling across this country, and Maumelle is the most peaceful and best maintained state park I've been to. The staff is friendly and eager to help, and the public facilities are very clean. The park offers RV sites on the water or in the trees. Beautiful. Definitely plan to return.

The park is beautiful but is not being maintained. The grass is high and needs mowing. This seems to be an ongoing problem as we have stayed here for many years.
The gate keeper was nice and courteous.

The park is nice and quiet and right on the river. There are several playgrounds for little kids and it’s great place for kids to ride bikes. It’s also very close to Pinnacle Mountain State Park and Two Rivers Park which are wonderful areas for child and adult bike rides.
The only negative thing about camping is the water pressure is very low and you’ll have to use your water tank and onboard pump if you have a tankless water heater in your RV.

We are frequent visitors. The Area B boat ramp men bathroom door was repaired!!

If you like your living space hosed down with roundup this is the place for you. Our whole campsite was brown and dead. Our pets have to lay in it. This is terrible and the grounds keep should be embarrassed. Pure lazyness.

The campground is accessible via State Route 10 (SR-10), which is the main road leading west from Little Rock. Pinnacle Valley Road provides direct access to the campground from SR-10.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
