What Guests Are Saying
Piney Bay Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with spacious, clean campsites near the water, making it ideal for relaxation and family activities. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean restrooms, and beautiful views, particularly for fishing and kayaking. While some sites may have leveling issues and occasional noise from nearby boats and trains, the overall experience is positive, with many campers planning to return.

Campsite 2A was sloping and very unlevel, causing us to extend front stabs and hitch to maximum length. After reaching maximum extension camper was still not level.

It was hard to find a place to put our pop up shower. The ground was to hard to put the steaks in. I also couldn't put a pop up shelter around the table because of all the concrete and hard ground. The swimming area was clean but saw some snakes swimming around and a black window living in the tire swing. The bathrooms were clean. We didn't like you that the water for the shower didn't stay on. You had to keep hitting the button. Everything gets wet.

Have to back 200ft down hill to a group site not a single camp site.
For that reason I gave a one star.

The breaker for our site is no good, could only use one major amenity in the camper at a time. Very inconvenient. Good other than that.

We camped in B03, I see why it was the only electric&water hookup site open for my dates- you have to back in UPHILL. The. We ran into the issue if we ran our AC and water heater the breaker would trip. But overall we enjoyed Piney Bay! Our kids had the swim beach to themselves most of the time! We got NO cell phone reception so I feel this is a great place to come unplug.

Our campsite was in good shape. Being a holiday weekend the whole campground was respectful and quiet, unlike other campgrounds we've gone to in the past. All I can think of to best explain why we choose Piney Bay every time is....IT'S THE BEST PLACE AND WE LOVE IT!!
