What Guests Are Saying
Piney Bay Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with spacious, clean campsites near the water, making it ideal for relaxation and family activities. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean restrooms, and beautiful views, particularly for fishing and kayaking. While some sites may have leveling issues and occasional noise from nearby boats and trains, the overall experience is positive, with many campers planning to return.

I have been camping at piney bay for 15 years there has been a lot of changes at piney bay maybe because of Covid 19 and I understand that they have put concrete on some of the camp sites need to do this on all sites in the B section it really helps to keep the sites clean all that being said we only camp at piney bay no where else and we will continue to do so

Everyone was extremely friendly. Restrooms and showers were kept clean. The beach looks amazing. Our last few days there they cleaned up all the driftwood and laid more sand.

We had a wonderful visit. Lots of Kayaking & Fishing. We were in E13 and were almost able to get level. All the sites in E have steep inclines & leveling challenges the pictures do not properly represent. The views, however, are amazing! Mt. Nebo & Mt. magazine are nearby and worth the drive!

Park was nice and the staff was great. But the swim beach pretty bad.

Beautiful park, nice flat water kayaking, clean bathrooms. Really liked it here. Cell coverage with Verizon 1 bar sometimes, with our ATT phone 2 bars. Couldn’t get any TV stations so come prepared. Saw a HUGE fish jump it must have been a gar because it was like three feet long and skinny. Ranger was really nice and on top of things. No groceries available close so plan accordingly.

Had to back my 40’ 5th wheel down a hill into the space which was very un-level and part of a group of 3 spaces. Not much room to maneuver but finally got it in there. Front leveling jacks almost completely retracted with the back jacks almost fully extended. Most sites I seen in the park are better suited for tents......not rv’s or trailers. I won’t be back to this location.

It is a nice camping area but we sure wanted a site with water but they were all reserved.

The site was good. Right next to the water. the only issue was the power didn't work.

Spot was a little hard to back the trailer because it was on a hill. The rest of the site was flat and made it fun for my daughter and family to play around. My family had the 3 surrounding site and we all had plenty of privacy but close enough to enjoy each others company. It was oddly cool for a Memorial Day but my daughter enjoyed splashing in the water. Great views of the lake and the restrooms were nice and clean.
