Red Arrow Resort

Our cabin was very cozy but I noticed that the master bedroom needs an electrical outlet. The deck is perfect for the morning coffee and to hear the birds sing.

The maintenance guy Dan came by to welcome us and provided a few extra wash rags. Great location and close to everything.

I booked a cabin 10 months in advance via airbnb to make sure my family and I had a secured place to watch the eclipse.
One month prior to our check in date, I get a notification from airbnb stating that my reservation had been canceled by the owners.. the owners response was "I need to cancel your reservation because we are selling the property. Our Apologies." ... keep in mind this is ONE MONTH away from the eclipse, so any places left to book were through the roof expensive.. So we had to cancel the airline tickets we had already purchased (of course no refund on those becasue again, I had booked 10 months in advance for this trip, assuming that they would be good hosts like all the others I had experienced on airbnb, not for a minute thinking a MONTH BEFORE they would do this!) I find it funny that for supposedly "selling" the property that its the same contact info on their website.
Needless to say this once in a lifetime trip where I was planning on 4 generations of our family viewings the eclipse together was ruined.. So no, I dont at all recommend this location.

Our 3rd year at Red Arrow with several other families and as in the past years, great trip and perfect accommodations. Owners are on site and easily accessible. Take care of things and constantly upgrading things when possible. Sad to see our week end but can't wait to go back next year. Already confirmed a reservation for 2022!

Hidden gem! Loved every minute of our stay at this tucked away cabin-style pet-friendly resort down Howard Creek Rd in Midway, Arkansas. Cabins clean and updated - grounds and swimming pool beautifully maintained. We stayed in Cabin #1 which offers two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one with a queen size bed. Couch in living room pulls out to a futon. Kitchen equipped with everything you need to feel right at home - just bring your own food. Dining table looks out on to terrific lake view. Cindi (owner) so friendly and hospitable. We can’t wait to come back.

We felt right at home! Adorable, clean, and accommodating pet-friendly resort. My family and I stayed here for the weekend of the 4th and had a blast. There are options for lake view or poolside cabins and a dock / entry to the lake right down the road. The owners are so friendly and helpful! Each cabin has a charcoal grill provided, pots and pans and dish soap, and there is a huge pavilion area in the back with plenty of space and provided lawn games. We will definitely be coming back
