Cottonshed Park is a well-maintained and peaceful campground with friendly and attentive staff, particularly park attendant Stan, who goes above and beyond to assist guests. Great little park on the edge of the lake. Most all of the spots had nice views of the water and the covered picnic tables were a plus. The fire ring was a little far from the main area of each campground spot but was nicely laid out with plenty of seating area. I liked the separate bathrooms with the shower and toilet.

Camp site was great except that the water hook up was more than 35 feet from the parking. Had to get a longer hose. Road going into park is horrible but once there everything was fine. Even saw an alligator!
