Was unsure when driving to Cottonshed but it turned out to be awesome. Can't wait to come back and fish. Camp host Dan was so nice and informative. All the other campers were friendly. Thank you.

Loved the park. Sites were roomy, well appointed (fire rings had stone surround-very upscale), and they had wide, paved parking areas. Showers get rave reviews for cleanliness but one side of the building's air heat was warmer than the other.
Sunsets over the lake were amazing. We stayed in sites 006 and 008 which shared a water hook-up. But if you want to be hooked up I recommend that you have more than 50 feet of hose and a splitter if you will be sharing the faucet with the other site. The cell phone and wi-fi signals were not as strong as the booking site advertised-it said 3 bars and we were lucky to get 1 to 2 on Verizon. Those next to us had AT&T and they lost all signal at times.

This park is a gem on the lake. The sunsets are spectacular. Hosts Dan and Stan were fantastic, greeting us with a smile and frequently stopping by to see how we were doing. This was the best COE run campground we have stayed at.
