This campground was wonderful. The view of the lake from campsites is awesome! We loved it here and plan to go back in the near future. The whole park was kept perfect! Our campsite was so clean. Restrooms very clean! Everything was well mowed and weed-eated We have never been to a park as well kept as this one. The people working there are so nice. Dan at the gate was so helpful and friendly as well as the volunteer, Stan. They were very busy and hardworking, but caring. Both were great! Also want to say that Johnny Douglas was also very friendly and made sure all need were taken care of. He was working hard on the grounds, but took time to see if my husband and I were enjoying ourselves, He seems to be a super, caring person, and very hard working. Bottom line is that we LOVED this park and we have been to a lots of parks both COE and State Parks. This by far was the cleanest and prettiest of all. Dan, Stan, and Johnny, look for the Smiths to return soon thanks to your kind welcome! We will be bringing some friends too. My husband's brother & wife camped right next to us. They also loved the park. We had to leave 2 days early from our 11 days due to family at home getting ill. We Texas's will see ya soon! Thanks for all your goodness, kindness, and making us feel so welcome.

Just a great vacation. The campgrounds are very clean, and well kept. The park attendant was very helpful in everything I needed. The lake is so beautiful and the sunsets are great. The showers and restrooms are kept up daily, and are very nice to have. The wildlife like deer, birds, alligators, and many others to watch. Fishing is great year around for all types. I'll always stay at Cottonshed Landing, because it is so nice all the time. Mark

We had a great experience. Very nice park attendants & beautiful park. It seemed to be out in the boondocks but seeing the deer just about every morning & an alligator swimming by was well worth it. We would recommend it highly & would definitely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The park host and attendant were welcoming and accommodating; really nice! The park was beautifully maintained and the only reason I could not give a 5-star rating is: No sewer hookups available, water hookup was awkward (located maybe 45-50 ft from our campsite), water has very unpleasant taste (even with filter) so we drove to purchase bottled water and finally, we had very poor cellphone reception with Verizon and AT&T. Whew! Having said all of that, we did LOVE it ! Very serene and a place we will definitely return to in the future!

I have been coming to Cottonshed for many years. Great place to camp and fish. You will see Bald eagles, alligators, plenty of species of ducks and can catch several types of fish.

Absolutely beautiful lakeside campground, located peacefully in the middle of nowhere! Clean, nice large RV spots.
The lake is stunning!
Extremely helpful and friendly camp hosts.
One if the best campsites we have ever stayed in, throughout the whole USA.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

We visit this campground regularly and always have good experiences. The caretaker is exceptional. My husband broke his ankle on our last trip and Stan was so helpful and considerate and constantly checked on us to make sure we were okay. We appreciated him so much. He does an excellent job taking care of the grounds as well.
