What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

Camp site #9 was very nice, shaded, clean, overlooking the beautiful Norfork River. Enjoyed visiting the fish hatchery within walking distance. Phone service was great. We will go back again. This campground is open year round.

They only had one restroom with showers open on the west side; on stall/door open on the east side. It was very nasty the east side one. The contractors that mow was on Wednesday and they mow our site spitting out grass onto our vehicle and trailer, plus weed eating ! Very noise that morning. Also you need to have a handicap place for the the ones in wheel chairs or can’t climb down to the river to fish. The rocks are so slippery and hard for one using a cane/walking stick to river to fish. Would be nice if those are less fortunate to be able to fish.

Park is well kept with clean restrooms. Relatively quiet at night. I stay here a couple of time a year in a tent.

Easy access to the river , park was clean and grass was well maintained. The office attendant was really friendly when we arrived. Fish and wildlife officers had a presence at the ramps , and park attendant patrolled the campground which added a sense of security for our RV when we where not on property. This is one of Arkansas’s top 3 campgrounds in our opinion

Great location and we had one of the better sites. But…they badly need to trim trees for clearance of our super C motor home as we drug limbs in quite a few areas. The single dump station, which was a very tight turning radius, was the worst area for low hanging branches. Rigs taller than about 9 feet will hit tree branches and we were 13’-1” tall. On-site manager was well aware of this problem but is unable to resolve due to government procedures.
