This is one of the best campgrounds I've ever been to, and I've been to many. In fact I extended my stay for a few more days.
The fishing was excellent right at the camp ground, and we enjoyed kayaking down the river on a couple occasions (arrange your own shuttle or call Adventure Outdoors in Norfolk to make arrangements).
The bathrooms were excellent and surprisingly private. Each door has its own toilet, sink, shower, and bench. They are also air conditioned and heated, which is very rare.
The proximity to town is very convenient if you need to buy some forgotten essentials.
The only improvements I can think of is that an ice vending machine located within the campground would be a huge asset for the park.

The bath house was pretty nasty. Rest of the place was nice. Mowing started pretty early. Would have been nice to sleep past 8 am on vacation.

We had a nice stay. Easy pull through site.
Storm came through and wiped out power for a bit, then we couldnβt get 50 amp anymore. We switched over to 30 amp and it worked.

Excellent experience! The light on the post near site 36 needs to be on a timer. It was kinda like sleeping under the sun.

Well maintained camp ground, which is typical of COE's that I've been to. Beautiful area of the state of Arkansas and great trout fishing.

I have been camping here for over 40 years, always enjoy the area and the fishing. The park ranger, sherriff, and attendant were wonderful to work with
