What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

We could smell the sewer for the campground from our spot. We notified the attendant, they were aware of the problem, and said it was on the list to be fixed, but had no ETA. We were at spot 66.

We got the campsite closest to the bathrooms and also close to one of the playgrounds. They have a nice long road through the campground for riding bikes or just going for a walk. Also across the street from the campground is a fish hatchery that is nice to tour. It’s also close to the river and there are even benches so you can sit and watch the people fishing.

Absolutely beautiful park with plenty of grass areas and flat walking roads. Camp site was paved asphalt with cover over picnic table. Bathrooms were very clean and maintained. Good cell service with Verizon and the US Fish Hatchery across the road is a great visit. Would recommend this park for any campers looking to relax and enjoy watching fly fishing in the Norfolk River.
