What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

Campsite was beautiful, but the firepit was completely full of ashes, the showers were not clean, the one and only dumpster was overflowing when we arrived on a Friday afternoon.
Had people in the adjacent campsite with two dogs that ran loose several times and became aggressive when I tried to shoo them out of our camp.
Didn't see a Ranger the entire 3days we were there. Not what I expect when staying at a Corps park.

This was our first visit to this park. We weren't able to have a prime river spot, but we were happy with our site. It's a big, roomy campground and very comfortable. The agent at the gate was very helpful.

Restrooms were clean and grounds well maintained. The staff was very courteous and answered questions about local area. Fishing was good and Dry Run Creek is a must do if you have children under 16 years of age that want to fish. As well, bring quarters to buy fish food and feed the fish at the hatchery. Check out Two Rivers Fly Shop in Norfork for fishing supplies and great advice for fishing the local waters.

Great place to visit. Clean restrooms and nice camp host. We took a road trip to Mirror lake which is a beautiful place to see.

We loved this park and will be back. The RV spot was easy to pull in (23ft airstream)and all facilities/grounds were super clean. The park staff and hosts were very very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, my husband had a very serious heart attack(he survived the “widow maker” heart attack!!) during our stay and the staff went out of there way to help us extend our stay. They also checked on us several times! Everyone is super sweet here! I highly recommend visiting! The view of the river is beautiful and fishing is really good also! The medical care in this area is outstanding also!

Being there in what seems to be off season (Dec) resulted in a very quiet stay. Sites are easily accessible, very clean and inviting. Water was a little far from the site resulting in us having to buy a 50 ft freshwater hose. The dam is an awesome site towering over the campground. I will return to this campground in the near future.
