What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

Very clean, quit, nice, family oriented place to camp.they have both water and electricity for a great nightly price. Will definitely be back to camp. And they are open year around I believe which makes it an even better place.

Site 20 has a long driveway. It is level with a slight slant downward at the back of the driveway. There is a large tree nearby, which provides shade during some parts of the day. This site does not have a weather-protected, covered picnic table. The grass was mowed to 25 feet back, away from this site, but was 2 ft high going into the area between two campgrounds. Site 20 is across from a small parking area near a small deck, so if you want to sleep in, make sure to bring earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones. The fishermen get excited in the morning and will wake you up.
The bathrooms/showers are together and have air conditioning, which is nice when it's 90 degrees outside. Bring shower shoes.
The hill going into the river has loose rocks, I recommend sturdy shoes. If you are allergic to poison ivy, make sure you know what it looks like. It is mixed in with the other ground plants. This site is about a 5-minute walk to the bathroom.
I had a tent and the tent pad is level and large enough for an 8-10 person tent. It would be a great spot for a RV since it's level.

This is a very pretty park that is well maintained. We stayed in spot #4. It was shady for most of the day. This has became our #1 spot.
