What Guests Are Saying
Henderson Park offers great sunset views over the lake and a friendly camp host, contributing to an enjoyable experience overall. While the booking process can be restrictive and some sites are rocky for tent camping, families still find it a fun place to visit. However, improvements are needed for the campground's online information, particularly regarding water hookups and site conditions.

To start, the option to only book one night (Friday night) was unavailable; it was only book able to reserve both Friday and Saturday nights... we were out the money for an extra night we didn't stay and couldn't get ahold of anyone on the phone to fix this issue. I understand the need to book a full weekend if it had happened to be a holiday, but it was not. Secondly, this was very rocky and uneven for tent camping. Possibly an oversight on our part, but I didn't see where it mentioned which spots were better for tents. Overall the kids had a good time and we enjoyed our rainy day at camp.

Great views of the sunset over the lake. Camp host was super nice. Rec.gov needs to be updated for this camp ground though, most sites do not have water hookups. Dump station is across the highway.

The park was nice and our stay was enjoyable but we did receive incorrect information from rec.cov about our site. There is community water available, and some site are closer than others. But the site we had was over 100 feet from water hookup. Our hoses weren't long enough. I had asked this question twice before booking and was told wrong information twice. It would have been easier if we had correct information.

I did not get to use it. The campground was not open during the time I was to stay so why are you saying I stayed there? I want my money back.

Campground hosts were great! We hated to see them go because of lake flooding concerns, It would be nice to se a normal season for a change.
I would also like to mention it would great if Henderson Campground would have showers available.
