This place was well kept and beautiful. We stayed at site #7 which had beautiful views of the water and plenty of space and shade. Rest rooms and showers were close and clean if needed. Our opinion is that site #10 is the best all-around for water view with shade. Park staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

We had a peaceful week at Bidwell. Spot 38 was perfect for our rig and the lakefront view was exactly what we hoped for.

It is beautiful here; the entire park is surrounded by water. There is a boat launch area with a place to park your trailer. The swimming area is partioned off for the kids. We stayed at site #2 which was big enough for our 40' RV. This site has a limited view of the lake but if some of the under brush were cleared that would change. Most of the lower campsites have great views. We come to this campground at least twice a year and always choose site #2 or #4 because our RV fits and they are close to the bathrooms/shower house. There are several bathroom locations but only one shower house. There are no full hookups at this campground but there is a dump station. In addition to the great fishing and water sports there are many great restaurants in the area; Jamies, Colton's, Freds Fishhouse and Mont Thai to name a few. If you're in to Karaoke, check out Ole Mill Tavern on a Friday Night. If you play Pickleball try the free courts at Hickory Park; first come rules apply. Don't forget to check out the many boutiques and flea markets in the area.

We always love Bidwell. It's a beautiful park. The showers however, have gone down hill. They definitely need work. Other than that, great experience!!
