Great campground. Glad to see the corp trying to keep the lake at/near summer pool. Bathrooms clean. Mowing could be better i can tell not mowed as much and as frequently

Not happy with the fact that the Host is Volunteering now and they only work W-Sun. The camp ground looked nice, the grass had just been mowed. The bathrooms are always clean. Except for someone cleaned there dog In the family shower and left it an absolute mess, hair and mud everywhere. All in all we still love this camp ground.

Brian is great and the campsites are decent. However, the shower house is in pretty bad shape. It’s time for a rebuild.

Nice park but several of the sites, even many that are close to the water, are set up so that the camper is facing away from the water rather than towards it.

Bidwell is a great campground. Brian is the best host!

The bathrooms with showers are in need of repair. The women's shower does not drain properly. The plumbing is bad. The bathrooms were not maintained. The bathrooms need to be updated. The park in general is not maintained very well. We do not recommend the park. We've stayed there before, but the condition has deteriorated.

Getting There
From Mountain Home, AR, travel 9 mi east on US 412/62, then 2 mi
north on SR 101.
Cross the lake on 101 bridge and take the 1st access road to the right.
Follow signs into campground.
Highway access
Bidwell Point Park is accessible via US 412/62, located 9 miles west from Mountain Home, AR. State Route 101 provides access to the campground after crossing the lake.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited at this facility.

Fires & fuel
- Purchase firewood locally and burn it on-site to prevent pests.
