What Guests Are Saying
Aux Arc campground is highly praised for its well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded sites, and beautiful river views. Many guests appreciated the friendly and helpful hosts, as well as the quiet, relaxing atmosphere that makes it a favored spot for camping. While some visitors noted minor issues like occasional noise from trains and areas needing better upkeep, the overall experience remains positive with clean bathrooms and a welcoming environment.

This is our favorite park to camp at—very clean and well maintained. The park has had several improvements made and makes the park more enjoyable—especially the brush clean out where you can see the river. The new staff is helpful and friendly.

C-12: Site didn’t have an installed grill like the other sites. Across from site are two permanent campers as they have storage sheds. An extremely high amount of cars parked or coming/going from their units.
Showered: summer temps were 100 plus, the shower ventilation were not operating so they were like saunas, by the time you dried you were soaked in sweat. There was only hot water/warm water, so you couldn’t take a cool shower.
Overall: Good place to stay if you’re passing thru but it would not be a destination in my opinion.

There are 3 sections to this campground. We stayed in the center section. Spots were a little more spread out than the main section. Our section was calm and quiet. The main section was crowded, the spots were tight, and it was packed. It was party central. With that said. It was not loud, and we didn't see any bad behavior.
