We had a nice visit here. The one thing that was a bit of a challenge is the noise from generators at the dam and the train that runs on the tracks directly across the lake from where we were camped. Other than that, we had a nice visit and enjoyed walking along the water.

Campground was well maintained and a beautiful setting on the river. The manager was super nice and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for a one night stopover or for an extended stay.

Our camp location was just below the lock and dam and we constantly were made aware of it by the horns constantly sounding off as well as the trains passing across there river... We were made aware of this prior to our reservations being made so it was expected.
Grass between camp sites was tall and needed to be cut.

Nice little spot. Stopped for an overnight rest on a drive from NC to AZ. Facilities were clean, neighbors were quiet, view was lovely. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
