What Guests Are Saying
Aux Arc park offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious sites and friendly attendants. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views of the Arkansas River, and proximity to local amenities, including dining and shopping in Ozark. While some noted noise from trains and occasional inconsiderate neighbors, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

I have stayed at Aux Arc several times and this was the first time in C12. It will be my spot of choice in the future. A large semi-private site (a pasture to one side) which was welcome as I now travel alone since the passing of my wife of 60 years while in SC in August
Aux Arc is always well maintained and quiet
Sorry to learn that Richard is retiring he was a great host

Nice little park and area to be in. The sirens and horns going off all the time are annoying tho.

Nice camp grounds along the river, but our particular site had some drawbacks. Both were noise. One was the Butterball turkey plant across the river and the second was trains running on tracks across the river. Talked to a couple of longtime guest and said they hardly noticed the trains. I would come back but get a camp site further away from the processing plant with its lights and constant noise. Very handy to Altus and the wine tour.

This park is clean and well kept. I love being beside the river and watching the barges go through the locks. The attendant was friendly and helpful. We have come to this park a few times now and are returning in a few days. It is one of my favorites. There is not much in the way of restaurants nearby, however, so be sure to bring food. :)
