Aux Arc campground is highly praised for its well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded sites, and beautiful river views. Many guests appreciated the friendly and helpful hosts, as well as the quiet, relaxing atmosphere that makes it a favored spot for camping. While some visitors noted minor issues like occasional noise from trains and areas needing better upkeep, the overall experience remains positive with clean bathrooms and a welcoming environment.

This place is great. Right on the river, super wide sites, power and water connections. It was super quiet and not many people here, but I’m not sure when peak season is here. The hosts are delightful and helped us get settled in. Yes - there are trains. About every three hours, the horn. It is actually enjoyable. Our site was level and it looks like most are.

It was the 4th of July weekend and the park was full. I would have thought that the park would have been mown and spruced up a little but the grass needing cutting and looked like it had not been picked up in a while. The bathroom that I did use on the way out of the park on our exit was clean though. No complaints there.

My favorites place to camp. Cleanest park on the map. Couldn't ask for a better site.
Bathrooms are clean too! Major A plus!

Nice quite place to stay. I will be back! Places to fish, hike down the river bank ( you will need to be prepared for some ruff terrain. It is the river bank.) Clean bathrooms, Paula the cleaning attendant & other staff is very helpful & friendly.

Nice campgrounds. Close to town but feels far away. Grass was mowed and kept clean. Beautiful waterfront. No swimming in the lake though so would be nice if there was a pool. There is a nice playground for the kids. We loved this campsite as it was beautiful and more away from the others. The only cons with it is there isn’t much shade and the picnic table is broken.
