Friendly, family campground. Clean restrooms and showers. Our only issue was the store was closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We had to drive 30 minutes each way to find ice. Make sure you are stocked up on essentials before arriving just in case.

I called before we came and was told the lake was quite a way from our camp site B4 then a hr later upon our arrival the park attendant whom I spoke with on the phone right before we left told us we would probably be kicked off the site within a couple days due to high water we came in on Monday 5/30 on Wednesday the person camping next to us told us they had received a text stating the site they were on and ours was being shut down I then went to park attendant whom was not in his station when finally came because the camper next to us went to attendants camper and got him out he proceeded to tell us he knew nothing about it we had to leave our site on Wednesday night we had to rent a cabin from Wagin Wheel for $95 a night and it was almost $400 I was not reimbursed the refund amount I was due I was refunded $66 only. This was such a mess no one knew anything amd many campers were mad besides only us . We have for many years camped Bull Shoals at Peel and Tucker Hollow and the last couple years have been a waste of money and vacation we are considering going to Missouri next time we have heard from a lot of friends that is what they are now doing
