What Guests Are Saying
Oakland Park is well-regarded for its beautiful views, clean bathrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a pleasant camping destination. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere and proximity to amenities like the beach and boat launch. However, some campers have noted the lack of tree cover and issues with geese in certain areas, suggesting a need for more canopies at campsites.

I have been using this campground for over fifty years and will continue to use it as long as I am able to camp.
Need to replace covers on those sites where they are missing.

Excellent quiet spot right by the lake with great views. Some spots have shelters and some don't.

Bathrooms were very clean and individual shower/toilet/sink in each one, no stalls. Park was well maintained, several good spots to camp. Easily walkable to bathrooms, playground, beach, and boat launch. Park wasn't packed with people. Close enough to drive back to town everyday if needed.
