The facilities are nice and well kept, except for the goose population. Not much can be done about that. The only real thing would be some of the spots are very close together and only two spots have any shade.

All went well at Oakland as usual . I am 87 and have been using Oakland campground for 50 years. My biggest complaint is the lack of site covers. that have been lost during floods.

From Mountain Home, AR, take Hwy. 5 N 14.2 miles. Turn left on AR 202 W for 9.6 miles and arrive at park entrance.
The campground is accessible via Hwy. 5 N and AR 202 W, with no major interstates or freeways located within approximately 25 miles.

- Campground attendants are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- One RV and one tent or two tents per site.
- Off-road vehicles not permitted.
- Livestock not permitted.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
