What Guests Are Saying
Oakland Park is well-regarded for its beautiful views, clean bathrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a pleasant camping destination. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere and proximity to amenities like the beach and boat launch. However, some campers have noted the lack of tree cover and issues with geese in certain areas, suggesting a need for more canopies at campsites.

We were very disappointed with this park. We left after the first night. All on concrete - no trees. Pull through spot was nice but a large amount of geese are walking through and pooping everywhere.

Quiet camp away from the crowds. We had our entire family there, less one, and had a blast.

Been going to this Campground for over 60 years. It is always a very pleasurable trip. My wife and I strongly recommend it.

Great quiet, small park. Our family has been enjoying the campground for years. The campground could use some backfill around the camping spots that have erosion issues from the high water.
Also, staying open in October, one of the best camping months of the year in AR, would be awesome.

We have been coming to Oakland park for decades and it is our favorite. It is difficult to plan reservations because of the fluctuation in water levels in the Spring but we deal with it. Our only wish is that all sites were 50 amp.
